The tour kicks off in Naarm/Melbourne at the Forum on 14 November before heading west to Boorloo/Perth’s Astor Theatre on 17 November. From there, the band travels north to Meanjin/Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on 19 November, wrapping up the run in Eora/Sydney at the Enmore Theatre on 20 November.
Australian-born, Vancouver-based artist Jack J joins them on all dates, making this a kind of homecoming. It’s a beautiful pairing, with Jack J’s ambient, textural approach to electronic music complementing Men I Trust’s dreamy, smooth sound perfectly.
A Men I Trust live show is one you’ll want to catch, as they translate their recorded atmosphere into something captivating and immersive, with Proulx’s ethereal vocals anchoring the band’s intricate instrumental arrangements.
