The LCT 1040 is a Tube/FET condenser microphone with a detachable remote-control unit which connects through a studio standard 3-pin XLR and its own external power supply, allowing you to obtain the perfect sound from your monitoring sweet spot making it your ultimate workflow companion.
To create all your tonal possibilities the LCT 1040 features four distinct all-analogue tube characteristics: Clear, Warm, Dark, and Saturated, while also being able mix the tube circuit seamlessly with a crystal-clear FET for the extra kick you need to dial in your perfect sound.
Changing polar patterns is seamless, while there are four low-cuts and attenuation settings available to capture everything perfectly at the source.
Externally, this is the kind of equipment you’d be comfortable carrying around with you whether it’s to get from place to place, or as a bit of armour, this thing is rigid.
The shock mount features carbon fibre parts for extra support and a distinct look, while the majority of the components are custom-made from scratch to ensure optimal acoustic performance with great build quality.
The included magnetic pop filter comes with a high-performance double-screen design while the mic is shipped in an almost indestructible transport case including the microphone, PSU, remote control, shock mount, mic mount, magnetic pop filter, cables, shock mount.
The microphone is set to be available February 16.
