KORG has released a clip-on visual metronome and two compact USB audio interfaces with studio-grade performance.

KORG has dropped three new products: the MetroClip, a clip-on metronome that lets you see the tempo, and two microAUDIO interfaces that squeeze professional sound into desktop-friendly boxes.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

MetroClip

We’ve all been there—metronomes sliding off music stands, getting buried under the band’s volume, or worse, using a metronome on YouTube and hearing ads every few minutes. The MetroClip solves these issues.

KORG’s MetroClip can be attached to your music stand, the bell of your instrument, or even your collar. A ball-joint lets you angle it perfectly for your sightline, so the tempo’s always visible without breaking your focus—especially helpful when the click is drowned out by loud music.

Its 3D visual display has three modes that adapt to how you work: Bounce Mode moves like a conductor’s baton, giving you that physical sense of rhythm. Flash Mode lights up the whole meter on each beat—fully lit for strong beats, partial for weak ones—making it easy to catch in your peripheral vision. L/R Mode, when positioned horizontally, mimics a traditional mechanical metronome’s swing.

Despite its compact size, a specially designed enclosure and piezo speaker deliver crisp, well-defined sound. It’s perfect for solo practice, sectionals, or rehearsals where keeping time visually makes all the difference.

microAUDIO 22 and 722

KORG’s microAUDIO series packs professional audio into compact units that won’t take over your entire desk. Both models deliver 2×2 simultaneous I/O, 24-bit/192kHz conversion, two preamps with phantom power, and combo inputs for mic/line/Hi-Z sources. Outputs are 6.3mm TRS with DC coupling.

First up, the microAUDIO 22 keeps things straightforward—pure, clean performance without unnecessary complexity. It’s ideal if you want a high-quality recording without a steep learning curve.

The microAUDIO 722 takes a different approach. It incorporates KORG’s legendary analog filter, turning the interface into a hybrid device that sits somewhere between recording tool and creative instrument. That analog filter gives you hands-on tonal shaping before your signal hits the computer—something digital plugins can’t quite replicate. The 722 also adds MIDI I/O for expanded connectivity.

Both interfaces bundle Filter Ark, KORG’s filter plugin that recreates iconic analog filters from the MS-20, Polysix, miniKORG 700S, and ARP Odyssey. Beyond vintage emulations, it includes modern designs like physically modelled resonators and vowel-based filters. You’ll also get Ableton Live Lite and iZotope Ozone Elements in the package. What a winner.

The 22 handles straightforward recording tasks with aplomb, while the 722 appeals to producers who want tactile analog control over their sound. Both maintain KORG’s reputation for transparent conversion and clean preamps in formats that fit comfortably on any desk.

The MetroClip is available now with late January delivery. The microAUDIO 22 and 722 arrive mid-February in limited quantities. Head here for more information.
