SydneyMusic.net has been a beacon for the city’s music lovers, connecting fans with over 16,000 live events in the past three years alone. Run by a small but passionate team, the platform has inspired countless readers to explore live music and support local venues. Earlier this year, citing financial challenges, SydneyMusic announced plans to close its doors on July 13 – a decision that sparked an outpouring of community support. RØDE, a globally renowned name in creative technology and a proud Sydney-based company, reached out immediately following the closure announcement.
