Kicking off in November, the organisation will host a run of two-day events on the East Coast to help artists hone their networking, marketing, social media and business skills, offering indie bands an unrivalled advantage against the rest of the competition.
The move comes in celebration of Grow My Music’s new mobile app, which allows artists to have their music heard directly by labels, publishers, booking agencies and more. Last year, tickets for the events cost up to $1,500, before being slashed to not cost a penny in 2018. It’s a huge opportunity for young players looking to dip their toes in the industry.
The Melbourne seminars will run from Saturday November 3 – Sunday November 4, while the Sydney event takes place from Saturday November 17 – Sunday November 18.
