Born and raised in Los Angeles, Strauss rose to the top in an era of male dominated guitar bands, eventually landing a dream job playing lead guitar with Alice Cooper. She will taking part in several Marshall clinics throughout 2017, a brand that she uses onstage with Cooper every night.
