Fender has announced Tele Town, a one-night live celebration of the Telecaster's 75th anniversary at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on 4 May 2026, featuring Brad Paisley, James Burton, Brothers Osborne and more.
Seventy-five years after it became the world’s first mass-produced solid-body electric guitar, Fender is marking the occasion with a star-studded one-night concert event at one of Nashville’s most iconic venues.
Tele Town takes place on Monday 4 May 2026 at the Ryman Auditorium, bringing together some of the finest Telecaster players on the planet for an evening dedicated to the guitar’s enduring influence. Tickets go on sale Friday 27 March 2026 at 10am CT via AXS, with all net proceeds going to local Nashville charities.

The lineup is seriously impressive, with confirmed artists Brad Paisley, Brent Mason, Brothers Osborne, Guthrie Trapp, James Burton, Luke McQueary, Ricky Skaggs, Steve Wariner, Trey Hensley and Zach Top performing alongside a dedicated house band led by musical director Derek Wells. More artists are still to be announced.
Wells, a Nashville guitarist himself, spoke to what the event means to him, saying “Serving as musical director for Tele Town is a true honour, especially in my home city of Nashville, where I grew up and where the Telecaster’s legacy runs so deep. Putting this show together has been about more than just great players – it’s about capturing the spirit of an instrument that’s shaped so much of the music we all love. This lineup is full of people who’ve lived with this guitar onstage and in the studio, and I’m certain that when we all are together, you’ll see people playing with love and reverence for what this instrument has meant to us all.”
The evening will be hosted by Nashville guitarist, music insider and historian Zac Childs, who will guide the audience through performances and collaborations that trace the Telecaster’s role in shaping Music City – and modern music more broadly.
“75 years after its debut, the Telecaster remains proof that simplicity endures, adaptable enough to move across genres, generations and stages without losing its identity. This celebration is our way of honoring not just an instrument, but a cultural phenomenon that has shaped music for over seven decades. Tele Town at the Ryman will be the culmination of this celebration – bringing that story to life on one of music’s most hallowed stages in the heart of Music City,” says Justin Norvell, FMIC President of Americas.
For those heading to Nashville for the occasion, there’s also a Fender Custom Shop event the night before. On Sunday 3 May, Carter Vintage will host a free Roadshow from 6:00 – 9:00pm featuring FCS Senior Masterbuilder Paul Waller, Master Pickup Winder Josefina Campos and Fender’s Chief Engineer of Guitars Tim Shaw. The event offers an intimate look at the craftsmanship behind Masterbuilt guitars, with giveaways on the night including FCS Josefina Campos pickups and Tele Town concert tickets. Entry is free and first come, first served.
Tickets for Tele Town are available at AXS from Friday 27 March. More information at fender.com.
