The 60th anniversary of the Jaguar sees two limited edition guitars to celebrate the offset model.

The 60th Anniversary Jaguar features the traditional 24″ scale length, bridge and vibrato system, and a mute, complete with a maple neck with a bound rosewood fretboard with mid ’60s-style pearloid block inlays.

The hardware boasts a lead/rhythm circuit and two single-coil pickups, while the alder body with a nitrocellulose lacquer finish is available in either Mystic Dakota Red or Mystic Lake Placid Blue.

The 60th Anniversary American Ultra Luxe Jaguar is a modern take on the high-end and unique Fender model.

This Jaguar features the Ultra Luxe Augmented “D” neck with a 25.5” scale as the tapered neck heel allows easy access to the highest register and ultra-rolled fingerboard edges allow for endless playing comfort.

Boasting a 10”- 14” compound-radius fingerboard with 22 stainless steel medium-jumbo frets, while the Custom Double Tap humbucking pickups and advanced wiring options create increased tonal options.

Both models will be available in April.

Fender is celebrating the Squier’s Ruby anniversary with two collections of collectible models, the Gold Edition and Vintage Edition, each boasting anodised aluminium pickguards, Fender-designed alnico single-coil pickups and vintage-style hardware.

Both editions will be available as Telecasters, Stratocasters, Jazzmasters, Precision Basses, and Jazz Basses.

The Gold Edition will be available in February while the Vintage Edition will be available in June.

Fender said the JV Modified Series “combines classic aesthetics with modern playability to suit the needs of today’s guitarist.

“Taking cues from the now highly sought-after “Japanese Vintage” reissues from the early ‘80s.

“For the player seeking classic Fender instruments with a twist, the JV Modified Series delivers a unique combination of vintage Fender with modern playability.”

There will be both 50s and 60s Stratocasters and Telecasters available in this series which is set to drop in March.
