The original synth is now known as a bit of a “unicorn” instrument due to its rarity, but Cherry Audio have repackaged and improved it with this iteration offering instrument layering and a bulked up paraphonic ‘poly’ synthesiser section.

This has been done with an additional octave, optional oscillator drift, velocity control, new modulation capabilities (including pulse-width modulation), and additional waveforms, while The ‘lead’ synthesiser section has been enhanced with a more powerful arpeggiator, additional waveforms, adjustable note priority, and numerous other small improvements.

With greater routing flexibility and added effects such as chorus and flanger, echo, and reverb, Cherry Audio has taken the original ARP Quadra and made it the ultimate companion for your modern setup.

Industry veterans have programmed over 450 presets with the ‘poly’ synthesiser includes ‘drift’ control for increased analogue realism, while the multi-out instance allows separate processing of each instrument section.

Cherry Audio have improved the arpeggiator section to include tempo sync, along with tempo-syncable LFO.

Quadra is available now in VST/AU/AAX formats for the introductory price of US$39 with a regular price of US$59.
