Time’s running out for Australian musicians looking to score support from Yamaha Music Australia’s Main Stage Grant, which closes this Saturday, 15 November at 10am AEDT.

Yamaha’s brand new initiative is designed to give the next generation of Australian artists the tools they need to create, record, and perform. The grant is open across three categories: bands, singer-songwriters, and producers.
One artist from each category will receive $5,000 cash plus $5,000 worth of Yamaha instruments—real backing that can make a tangible difference to performances and studio recordings.
“Main Stage is about giving the next generation of Australian musicians the platform and support they deserve,” said Mitch Kelly from Yamaha Music Australia. “Whether you’re a band, a songwriter, or a producer, we want to help you take that next big step with real backing. We believe Australia makes the best music, and we want to continue to support you.”
The Main Stage Grant adds to Yamaha Music Australia’s expanding list of artist support initiatives. Currently running is the Share Your Moment competition, which invites artists to share the stories behind their music. Yamaha’s Great Start Grant also provides schools with opportunities to build stronger music education programmes, showing Yamaha’s dedication to supporting musicians at every level.
