These updates deliver the Opto-3A, ModEQ 6 & ModComp to Hardware DSP, the Apogee Channel FX plugin and all Optical Inputs.
This now makes the entire Apogee hardware DSP FX suite available from the Symphony Desktop touch screen, while also enabling the complete DualPath workflow onboard hardware DSP and native plugins.
“Symphony Desktop is the only audio interface that lets you record, monitor, mix and master using the Apogee plugin DSP on your interface and the same native plugins in your DAW,” Apogee said.
Apogee plugins can also be used remotely requiring no audio interface hardware or dongle, with the DualPath workflow now featuring 6 premium Apogee plugins, all accessible on the Symphony Desktop touchscreen and in your DAW.
This update is available now for free to existing Symphony Desktop customers and new customers that register their Symphony Desktop on the Apogee website.
The system requirements include macOS 10.14.6 or later, Mac Intel and M1 processors, Windows 10 20H1 or greater, a PACE iLok Account for Apogee Control 2 software and Apogee plugins, while it is AAX Native, AU (Mac Only), VST or VST 3 Compatible Host Application.
