Return To The Moon marks the first formal collaboration between members Matt Berninger (The National) and Brent Knopf (Ramona Falls). The friendship started a decade ago when The National and a previous band of Brent’s were on tour together along America’s west coast.
After staying in touch over the years, and casual collaborations through the internet – e.g. Brent sending Matt rough sketches and Matt responding with lyrics – the pair are finally releasing their music to the world, in the form of an 11-song album, including lead single and title track ‘Return To The Moon’.
