As announced on Friday, German company Native Instruments have unveiled new additions to their line of Komplete Kontrol MIDI controllers, the S49 and S61.
The announcement came along with the news of NI’s new Maschine MK3 controller, and the Komplete Kontrol units share some functionality with the Machine line, and have gained several new buttons for that purpose.
The 49 and 61-key versions maintain the Fatar keybeds of the previous incarnations, but gain eight functions keys, eight knobs, a jog control, pitch and mod wheels, and a large colour display screen. The Komplete Kontrol models will provide easy control over both its own and the Maschine software, and will work with any DAW and plugin combination.
Native Instruments is distributed in Australia by CMI Music and Audio.
