“We had a look at the nominees this year, and it was an incredible line-up, so to win this is such an honour for us”, they said.
Meanwhile, Courtney Barnet and Sampa the Great retained their respective titles in the Best Solo Artist and Best Hip Hop Act in a year that recorded the largest number of female winners in genre categories.
There was also the almost obligatory award for Tones And I, with a special Outstanding Achievement Award in recognition of her unprecedented success which saw her top 23 official music charts around the world.
Other winners include Paul Kelly, G Flip, Erica Dunn as an individual artist as well as part of Tropical Fuck Storm, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, so check out the full list of awardees below.
