Limited Runs And Updates In Vintage '50s Style

While Fender have dominated the headlines at Summer NAAM, Gretsch have also announced several new products, including updates to existing models and some limited runs in retro stylings.

G6118T Players Edition Anniversary with String-Thru Bigsby

The G6118T Anniversary guitar features a Bigsby String-Thru system and two High Sensitive Filter’Tron humbuckers for a traditional Gretsch tone. It has separate volume and tone controls for the bridge and neck pickups for further tone control, has a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets.

 

G6122TFM Players Edition Country Gentleman Hollow Body with String-Thru Bigsby and Flame Maple

The G6122TFM hollow body has a flamed maple body, dual high sensitive Filter Tron humbuckers, a maple neck in a ‘U’ profile and an ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. It also features a Bigsby B6GP String-Thru system for easy string changes and improved vibrato transmission.

 

G5420TG Limited Edition Electromatic Single-Cut Hollow Body with Bigsby and Gold Hardware

The G5420TG Limited Edition Electromatic Single-Cut features dual Black Top Filter’Tron humbucking pickups, a Bigsby B60 vibrato, a master volume treble bleed circuit, a Candy Apple Red finish, gold hardware and large F-holes.

 

G5435 Limited Edition Electromatic Pro Jet

The G5435 Electromatic Pro Jet is made with a basswood body with internal cavities and a curved maple top as well as two Black Top FilterTron humbucker pickups. It has a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and a Fairlane Blue finish.

 

G9520 Limited Edition Jim Dandy 24″ Scale Flat Top Guitar

The G9520 Limited Edition Jim Dandy Flat Top is made with an Agathis body in a bronze burst finish with a Nato neck, rosewood fingerboard, 18 ‘vintage-style’ frets and a rosewood bridge. It is made to a 24” scale for extra comfortable playability and has a 1950 Gretsch 3x3 headstock.
