Godin reveal new Multiac Steel acoustic guitar

Based on the signature model of American country guitarist Doyle Dykes, the Godin Multiac Steel features a solid spruce top with a dual chambered mahogany body, offering a highly responsive tone that particuarly accentuates the midrange. The guitar also combines a mahogany neck and Richlite fingerboard, making this one a finger picker’s paradise.

The Godin Multiac Steel is also loaded with a custom LR Baggs electronic system, allowing players to blend an LR Baggs Element undersaddle transducer with an internal Lyric microphone for a distincitve tonal response. There’s also a Seymour Duncan Lipstick pickip loaded in the neck position, which can be introduced via volume and tone knobs to cut through for some Tele-style clean tones. Check out how it sounds below.
