Aussie rockers The Church have announced their plans to set off on a national tour later this year in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their 1988 LP, Starfish.
An Evening With The Church will see the seminal rock band perform intimate theatre shows in Wollongong, Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide before the tour draws to a close with a final show in Perth.
Having been a respected name in the Australian music scene since their formation in 1980, The Church have continued to redefine their sound and push the boundaries of the genre with a seriously impressive discography boasting 26 albums over 35 years.
The Church will perform Starfish in its entirety as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations, alongside a selection of hits spanning their illustrious career. While the tour may be reflecting on their lauded past, the band is by no means dwelling in nostalgia – they released their 26th studio album Man Woman Life Death Infinity last year and are gearing up for a run of UK and US shows for 2018.
