BOOKING AGENT ASSISTANT – 4 Tone Music (Melbourne)

Boutique Booking Agency Four Tone Artists are looking for a Booking Agent Assistant to join them in their Melbourne office, 3 days per week. This is an entry level role for someone with the right attitude plus impeccable administration and communication skills.

Skills Required:

  • Genuine passion for live music, in particular, Australian music. Ideally you are interested in becoming a Booking Agent in the future.
  • Recent Graduates (and those still studying) are welcome to apply.
  • Superb communication skills and 100% attention to detail.
  • Proficient with MS Office and key social media platforms.
  • ‘Roll up your sleeves’, flexible attitude, eager to learn.

Tasks Include: 

  • Liaise via phone and email with promoters and event organisers in relation to all aspects of booked shows.
  • Secure all necessary information for the creation of artist itineraries and assist to create show schedules.
  • Brief show teams and ensure all logistics have been communicated clearly to relevant parties.
  • Source and book support acts.
  • Facilitate communication between various involved parties as and when needed.
  • Manage client database, generate contracts and ensure all paperwork is in place.
  • Act as the office all-rounder, undertake all administration tasks as required

PR & MEDIA MANAGER – Universal Music Group (Melbourne)

Universal Music Australia are on the hunt for a talented PR & Media Manager to join the Melbourne team. Managing relationships with VIC, SA and regional Australia based media, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering growth in the exposure of local and international artists.

Skills Required:

  • Background in media, PR, entertainment, marketing or other related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the media landscape and its role in music, including digital media.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Highly creative and innovative.
  • A motivated self-starter with strong problem solving and organisational skills.

MARKETING MANAGER FOR EVENTS AND CLUBS – TMRW Music (Sydney)

TMRW Music work across the full spectrum of the music industry, covering recordings, management, publishing, sync, venue management, media production through to touring and events. They are looking for an events marketing specialist to join theirteam as Marketing Manager – Events & Club in a full-time capacity to drive the day to day marketing operations for two of Sydney’s most iconic clubs, as well as a year round calendar of international tours and special events which tour the country.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Events, Music, Communications or Business
  • 4 years’ work experience gained in a an events/touring environment
  • Proven success running multiple marketing campaigns
  • Strong communication skills at senior levels
  • A passion for music and a solid understanding of domestic and global electronic music scene
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite – particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • A solid understanding of social advertising

Tasks Include:

  • Composing and executing Marketing plans for all key events and tours
  • Campaign management for all key events and tours
  • Advertising management for all key events, tours & club nights
  • Week to week marketing operations for three weekly club nights (MoS Club / Chinese Laundry)
  • Keeping on top of touring department activity and ensuring clear communications between touring and marketing departments
  • Managing creative and asset production for events, tours and club nights including writing detailed creative briefs
  • Overseeing marketing and brand presence for Poster Child agency
  • Overseeing social media management of MoS Club, Chinese Laundry & Poster Child
  • Driving forward new ideas, event concepts for weekly club nights and special events
  • Lead point of contact between MoS and Merivale marketing teams

IN HOUSE LAWYER (MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT) – TMRW Music (Sydney)

TMRW Music are looking for a highly skilled early stage lawyer to join our group of companies as an in-house, working across some of Australia’s most cutting edge artists, events and labels.

Skills Required:

  • An LLB, LLM, JD or equivalent qualification
  • Admitted to practice Law in any State or Territory of Australia
  • Must hold a current Australian State or Territory practicing certificate
  • Have 1-3 years’ experience as a qualified lawyer (gained in a national or boutique IP firm or in-house of a large corporate)
  • Knowledge of or previous experience with IP and/or Commercial Law in music, events or related industries.
  • A passion for music, entertainment and culture.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A desire to build a career in media and entertainment law.
  • Solid credentials and references.
  • Well organised and have strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work fast and at times under pressure.

  • A wide variety of media and entertainment law projects
  • Work with Australia’s most cutting edge artists, events and labels
