The Flatiron Film Project is a non-profit focused on supporting independent filmmakers and theatre projects, enabling creatives to work on projects that otherwise mightn’t be made at all. Flatiron Film Project is in the business of allowing artists to see their vision through to the end, whereas larger funding bodies and investors might inform creative direction or influence.

Flatiron Film Project

The Colorado-based collective aim to provide funding, with a focus on Colorado residents making films in Colorado—as well as the wider community of independent, US-based filmmakers. In the changing landscape that we live in, it’s increasingly that indie films and projects can be made and stories can be told; Flatiron Film Projects want to help.

As part of their fundraising, Flatiron Film Project is running a sweepstakes from April through to July as they gear up for their first fundraising push before applications open for grants in 2025. You could win a Gibson Les Paul Custom from the Custom Shop!

The Gibson Les Paul Custom is Gibson’s flagship Les Paul—depending who you ask! Building on the classic Les Paul design, the Custom features all the bells and whistles, including an ebony fretboard with Mother of Pearl block inlays, double bound body and the iconic split diamond inlay on the headstock.

You can enter the sweepstakes here and be involved in helping to fund any number of films, creative and theatre projects from passionate creators for the latter part of 2025 and beyond. Flatiron Film Projects’s dedication to funding independent film will enable stories to be told and creative visions seen to fruition.

You can use promo code ‘MIX25’ when entering for 25% more entries free! For additional terms and conditions, information, funding opportunities, or to sign up for their monthly newsletter, you can keep reading about the Flatiron Film Project here.
