Universal Audio’s Topline Vocal Tune now runs on Apollo, putting pitch-corrected vocals in a singer’s headphones as they track, rather than after the take. Correction happens in real time through the interface’s DSP, with near-zero latency and none of the distracting delay that usually comes with monitoring through a plugin.
Topline Vocal Tune started life as a native-only plug-in, and this release adds a DSP version that runs on Apollo and UAD hardware. Both come with a single purchase, and you can switch between the Native and DSP versions inside the LUNA recording suite with all your settings preserved. According to UA, it’s the only UAD plug-in that pitch-shifts in real time, and the Apollo version keeps every feature of the native one working at any DAW buffer size, even in larger sessions.
