Serato has folded its beat-making software into the DJ Suite bundle, giving DJs a direct line between production and performance.
Serato has announced that Serato Studio, its DAW built for custom DJ edits and original beat-making, is now included in DJ Suite, with no additional cost to new or existing subscribers.
This means DJ Suite now brings together Serato DJ Pro, all Serato DJ Expansions and Serato Studio under one bundle. For DJs who’ve been bouncing between separate tools to build edits and then perform them, this closes the loop considerably.

The practical benefit of bringing them together is in the shared infrastructure. Serato Studio carries over your existing Serato DJ library, including Crates, Cue Points and hardware support, without any setup. From there, you can fine-tune intros, extend outros and drop them straight into sets. The Stems technology, Key Shifting and BPM Syncing tools let you take an idea from concept to something gig-ready without leaving the ecosystem. Studio’s Drum Sequencer, Instruments, FX, Automation and Soundpacks round out the production side for DJs who want to push things further.
The line between DJ and producer has been blurring for years, and having a beat-making tool that speaks the same language as your DJ software removes a layer of unnecessary friction. Whether you’re crafting a one-off edit for a set or building tracks from scratch, the integration means less time on admin and more time on the actual work.
The update is live now for current DJ Suite subscribers and license holders. Head to Serato.com for the full details.
