RODE release the compact RODECaster Duo

RODEcaster Duo

RODE is a company who aren’t afraid to push new boundaries. They did it in 2018 with the RODECaster Pro, an entirely new content creation hub that enabled more people than ever to have a voice via a podcast, song or video creation.

This evolved into the revised RODECaster Pro II, the beauty of the RODECaster Pro II (and the Pro that came before it) is how all-inclusive they were. Featuring faders, pads, mic and line inputs, multiple outputs, sends and routing options, all bundled together along with USB connectivity (dual USB-C to be exact), the RODECaster Pro II is one of the most versatile interfaces on the market!

RODECaster Duo

RODE now launch the RODECaster Duo, a more compact version of the RODECaster Pro II with the same functionality and power available to the larger format models. It’s difficult to imagine packing such a punch into a smaller format unit, but here we are. The RODECaster Duo has four physical faders, three virtual faders, six programmable SMART pads and a practical list of monitoring options for all of this including a 3.5mm TRRS input. For input, the Duo features the same low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamps featured on the RODECaster Pro II, accessed via high-quality Neutrik combo inputs for microphones, instruments or line-level devices. What’s more, the RODECaster Duo is updateable, with firmware updates coming from RODE as they adapt their tech.

For optimum audio quality regardless of your level of experience, the RODECaster Duo features studio-quality APHEX audio processing, advanced Bluetooth connectivity and both wired and wireless connectivity—it’s all up to you! Monitor the seven channels on the 5.5-inch high-definition touchscreen, and adjust on the rotary encoder and faders.

What elevates the RODECaster Duo is its compact size with features that pack a punch. An entire studio inside of a small chassis that’ll fit in your backpack, all designed and made in Sydney at RODE’s state-of-the-art facilities.
