The kit includes two ultra-compact transmitters with built-in microphones, a smartphone receiver, and a new on-camera receiver featuring a 1.1-inch AMOLED screen. The new system adapts to your setup, whether you’re using a DSLR, mirrorless camera or smartphone.
“By expanding the Wireless Micro’s capabilities to include universal camera connectivity, we’ve created a consolidated creative solution that’s not only more powerful, but incredibly flexible and simple to use,” says RØDE CEO Damien Wilson. “No matter how or where you create, the Camera Kit empowers you to tell your story with pristine sound, any way you decide to deliver it.”
The on-camera receiver offers both 3.5mm TRS and USB-C outputs for seamless integration with different camera systems. An integrated cold-shoe mount provides stability, while the AMOLED screen allows quick configuration without diving into menus. iOS users can also connect via Bluetooth using the free RØDE Capture app through Direct Connect functionality.
Each transmitter features automatic pairing and an omnidirectional pickup pattern that captures sound from every angle. Intelligent GainAssist technology automatically balances audio levels, eliminating constant manual adjustments. Integrated clips and magnetic mounts make placement straightforward, while both internal and external windshields handle plosives and wind noise for clean recordings indoors and out.
The compact charging case provides two full recharges for up to 21 hours of total use. Plug-in power detection automatically powers the camera receiver on when connected and off when disconnected, maximising efficiency between shoots.
This marks the second generation of RØDE’s camera receiver. Anyone who purchased a Wireless Micro USB-C or Lightning configuration before 30th October 2025 can still redeem the original camera receiver.
