Announced only a couple of weeks ago, the Silver Sky was designed through a close collaborative process between Mayer and Paul Reed Smith that saw them dedicate two and a half years to the guitar. Now, Mayer has given an insight into the process by discussing the Silver Sky during a 40-minute livestream, which you can catch up on thanks to YouTube channel The Music Space.
