The fruit of a labourous nine month collaboration with the North Carolina singer-songwriter, the Walrus Audio DEFCON4 boasts a trio of rotary knobs to filter out low, mid and high band frequencies from your tone, allowing for additional tone sculpting for all you tone fiends out there. Three toggle switches, decked out with illuminated numbers, nonetheless, allow you to further activate or bypass the three frequency knobs, while an additional Launch rocker switch activates a meaty 10dB MOSFET signal boost.
Upon revealing the incredibly retro-inspired pedal, Adams expressed his nostalgic approach to the aesthetic design of the pedal, saying, “I want this to look like someone from the ’80s was pushing the technology they had available at the time.”
