Built entirely from System T components, the TCA Tour is a portable, pre-wired production system designed for fast deployment in live touring, broadcast and corporate environments.
Solid State Logic has announced the TCA Tour – a portable, flight-case-ready version of its flagship System T mixing console, built for engineers who need professional broadcast-grade audio on location or on tour.
In simple terms, it’s a full SSL mixing system that packs down into two or three cases, each under 23kg, and arrives pre-wired and ready to use. The control surface has 16 faders and built-in inputs and outputs – eight mic/line inputs, four line outputs and headphone monitoring – so you can be up and running quickly without needing to source additional gear. A touchscreen and PC running SSL’s Tempest Control App sit alongside the desk on a custom mount.

Two versions of the fader tile are available. The standard DFT gets the job done, while the DFT+ adds OLED displays and metering on each individual fader for more detail at a glance. Both connect to external racks via touring-grade EtherCON and opticalCON connectors, and the system works with all System T DSP engines as well as third-party Dante, AES67 and ST 2110 devices.
