Based on early digital echo processors, the Akron, Ohio company describe the pedal as being made for fans of ‘dreary echoes produced by old oil can delays’ as well as ‘well-loved’ tape delay.
The Space Spiral’s delay time runs from as short as 30ms up to 600ms, so it enables you to create a tight slapback effect all the way up to a much looser wash of sound. The other controls also include ‘Repeats’, which control the regeneration of the delay signal, ‘Mix’, which blends the wet and dry signal, ‘Depth’, which controls the modulation amount, and ‘Shape’, which allows you to select a wave form shape.
