Roland shares first look at new V-Drum TD-17 series

The TD-17 is designed to be as authentically close as possible to an acoustic drum kit, boasting a TD-50-class sound engine with newly developed pads to create an electronic drum kit for the serious drummer. The kit offers drummers the chance to build their skills through training functions that can track technique, measure progress and ultimately increase motivation.

Notable features included with the TD-17 are a 12” snare, a natural-feeling hi-hat, expressive modelled drum sounds from the flagship TD-50, and the character and tone of acoustic drums. Bluetooth connectivity further enhances the TD-17’s ability to improve your playing with the option of recording your performance to listen back to and build on.

The TD-17 series is set to be released in four distinct variations: TD-17KVX, TD-17KV, TD-17KV-L, and TD-17-K-L.
