Limited to only 200 models, the 2020 Modern Eagle V features a maple 10 top and a mahogany back and neck, which is complemented with a 22 fret Honduran rosewood fretboard with ‘Old School’ bird inlays.
The 2020 Modern Eagle V is fitted with TCI humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions, while a PRS single coil keeps things funky in the middle section. The guitar features controls for volume and tone with a push/pull knob for coil-splitting and a five-way pickup selector.
There’s also three mini toggle switches to offer further tonal flexibility, with two being used to seperate the humbuckers into TCI-tuned single coils by seperating the slug-side coils, while a third toggle changes the volume pot value from 500k to 250k to let you enjoy a myriad of tones.
Elsewhere, the 2020 Modern Eagle V features a PRS Patented Tremolo, Phase III tuners with faux-bone buttons and hybrid hardware, rounding out what looks to be a monster instrument from the PRS camp.
