Loosely based on the 1970 Foxx Tone Machine, the Fur Coat provides a vintage fuzz and incorporates an adjustable octave dial. A footswitch is also offered for the upper octave in the Fur Coat, which is Orange’s only true bypass pedal.
The Getaway Driver is styled as an amp-in-a-box and provides a variety of tones from clean boost to overdrive. The pedal features three dials – volume, bite (tone), and gain – and includes a cab sim/headphone output.
Both the Fur Coat and the Getaway Driver can run at 9V or 12V, with the Getaway Driver achieving the character of EL84 valves at 9V and EL34 at 12V.
