Logic Pro X 10.4.5 update allows for 1000 track recording

The 1.5GB update, which is available for download now, provides users with a much more responsive Mixer and Event List interface, as well as optimisations for Apple’s recently announced Mac Pro systems with 56 processing threads. This essentially allows for Logic to host up to 1000 stereo audio channel strips, 1000 software instrument channel strips, 1000 auxiliary channel strips, 1000 external MIDI tracks and 12 sends for strip, offering an insane amount of flexibility over tracking projects.

Elsewhere, Apple have added tweaks to the Loop Browser to let you drag and drop multiple loops into your project simultaneously, as well as the MIDI Clock, which can now be sent to individual ports with settings such as timing offset and plug-in delay compensation. They’ve also redesigned the appearance of the DeEsser 2 plugin for a streamlined aesthetic – groovy.
