The new guitars feature mahogany bodies, a variety of finishes and updates such as those seen in the following six models:
The Modern Les Paul Axcess Custom Rhino includes an Apex headstock for increased strength, newly designed back contours to enhance comfort and a Rhino Grey finish developed for this model.
The Les Paul Custom Figured Top boasts a modern tone with traditional craftsmanship, long neck-tenon construction and a matched set of 490R/498T humbucking pickups.
The Johnny A. Spruce Top is reminiscent of late 1950s Gibson models with its spruce top, while the guitar also features a rosewood fingerboard and the choice of three finishes.
The SG Standard Maple Top improves tone, adds a 60’s-inspired C-shape neck and includes a pair of Custom Bucker pickups with a Dark Cherry finish.
Similarly, the Les Paul Special Maple Top also features a Dark Cherry finish; however, this model includes a pair of Custom P90 Soapbar pickups.
Lastly, the Heavy Aged SG Standard is a hand-aged model with an iconic SG design and a Heavy Aged Antique Pelham Blue finish.
