Following the release of the incredibly luxurious, rather bespoke German-made model of 2018, the D-Series Talisman aims to provide cash-strapped players with an affordable alternative to its speccy predecessor. It boats a 24.75″ scale length with a string-thru mahogany body and set neck, while a tigerstripe ebony fretboard lets you glide up and down the neck with ease. It’s also got 22 nickel silver jumbo frets, a graphite nut and a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a set of Framus tuning heads to tie it all together.
In the pickup department, the D-Series Talisman is fitted with a pair of Framus 100 and 400 humbuckers in the neck and bridge. Framus are even offering the option to spend a bit more coin and cop some Seymour Duncan SH-1n and SH-4b humbuckers, which is probably going to make the world of difference if you’ve got the cash to splash. There’s also a three way pickup selector and two tone and volume knobs each.
The Framus D-Series William DuVall Talisman is available in a Solid Black High Polish finish, and is available to order now.
