The Mahogany Stratocaster promises to be the first Blacktop model from Fender in quite some time, and it looks like the company are pulling all the stops to make it a very special one at that.
As well as re-releasing the popular double humbucker Blacktop Stratocaster in Black and Red, Fender are also issuing an Olympic White, triple humbucker model with a contrasting Black headstock and gold hardware. Sheesh!
While there’s some indications that these models could be a European exclusive, it’s definitely a pretty bold move from Fender to tap into the triple humbucker market. Expect to hear more from us if any of these puppies land down under.
