Fender reveal two new Limited Edition Artist Signature models

Conveniently supporting the release of Spoon’s new Greatest Hits compilation, the Britt Daniel Signature Telecaster Thinline acts as a tribute to the model favoured by the singer and guitarist of the seminal Texas alternative group. Boasting a very touch Amarillo Gold lacquer finish, the signature guitar features a resonant, semi-hollow ash body with custom pickups and S-1 switching to instantly flick between parallel and series pickup wiring. The Britt Daniel Telecaster also comes fitted with a Deep C maple neck with 21 stainless steel frets, Fender ClassicGear tuners and a moulded Elite Fender case.

He might not be a household name (personally, I dig his surname), but the Signature Stratocaster for Christian contemporary guitarist Lincoln Brewster will definitely turn your head for all the right reasons. With a slick Aztec Gold lacquer finish and ash body contrasting a soft-V maple neck with 22 frets, this Strat oozes cool, and also features bent-steel saddles and a two-point tremolo system with a pop-in arm. There’s also custom DiMarzio Area 58 pickups in the neck and middle positions and a DiMarzio Area 61 in the bridge to nail vintage sounds without any hum or interference, as well as an onboard active boost and custom mid-boost function engaged by pressing the tone and volume knobs.
