Apogee Control software includes a customisable GUI and multi-unit support, acting as a replacement for the Maestro 2 app. It enables compatibility with the Apogee Control iOS app and Apogee Control hardware remote, while a firmware update allows the Ensemble Thunderbolt to be used in conjunction with Logic Pro X’s new Direct Monitoring feature to reduce recording latency.
More updates include the ability to double the available inputs and outputs by connecting two Ensemble Thunderbolt interfaces to a Mac, and the option to connect any Apogee Element interface to your Ensemble Thunderbolt to expand your system.
