Southern California metalcore heavyweights team up with Japan's Crystal Lake for a five-date run that promises unrelenting energy.

Of Mice & Men are returning to Australia in May 2026, bringing their explosive live show alongside Japan’s metalcore prodigies Crystal Lake for what’s shaping up to be one of the heavier tours of the year.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

“Australia holds a special place in our heart. The crowds there are unmatched in their passion and chaos,” says frontman Aaron Pauley. “After the love we felt last year, we are stoked to return with a new show and tear the roof off once again. It feels like coming home with family. Get ready for the pits to open wide.”

Of Mice & Men build arena-sized songs and tear through them live with relentless energy. The Southern California alt-metal outfit commits fully to every note, every lyric, and every show, which has earned them over a billion streams worldwide, including Billboard #1 albums and Gold certifications, as well as tour invites from Metallica, Linkin Park, and Slipknot.

Their 2024 Australian run left a mark. “Of Mice & Men delivered a premier performance that will be remembered as one of the top shows of 2024,” wrote Matt New for Heavy Mag. “Their sound is monstrously tight, awesome riff after awesome riff throughout the night. One of the largest and most powerful circle pits witnessed… the fans went nuts.”

Crystal Lake haven’t played Australia in six years, but their reputation has only grown more colossal in that time. The Japanese band fuses hardcore and metalcore with soaring melodies and crushing intensity, creating what Sputnik Music described as “a mind-bending fusion of hardcore, metalcore, deathcore, nu metalcore, and even some ambient sounds… This is a whole different level of metalcore; there’s really nothing else out there like it.”

  • Thursday 7th May – Lion Arts Factory, Adelaide
  • Friday 8th May – 170 Russell, Melbourne
  • Saturday 9th May – Manning Bar, Sydney
  • Sunday 10th May – The Triffid, Brisbane
