Emulating the hardware synths of old

Novation has announced a pair of emulator plugins in the Bass Station and V-Station are available for a free download.

Both are designed to emulate the hardware synths of the ‘90s and ‘00s, with the Bass Station taking the same name of the monophonic synth of 1993, and the V-Station emulating the K-Station synth of 2002.

The Bass Station contains two digital oscillators and an analogue filter, while including all of the presets from the original, plus some more for good measure (100 in total).

The V-Station boasts a three-oscillator sound engine with noise and FM capabilities, an arpeggiator, effects, 200 user programs, 200 factory presets, and eight-note polyphony.

Head to the Novation website to download, ensure you check compatibility first.
