The NF ACOUS in-ear monitors range bring studio sound quality directly to your ears, whether you're tracking guitars, mixing or on stage.
Professional monitoring just became more accessible for Australian musicians with NF ACOUS in-ear monitors. New and exclusive to Pro Music Australia, the NF ACOUS arrives with two distinct models designed for different needs: the established NM2 that’s already won over 100,000 musicians worldwide and the upgraded NM20 that builds on that success with next-generation technology.
Keep up with the latest news here.
NM2: Reputation for accuracy
The NM2 represents the model that built NF ACOUS’s reputation. Its M2CL-10 dynamic driver integrates the acclaimed NA1 tuning circuit directly into the unit, delivering unprecedented accuracy for songwriting and monitoring.
With enhanced low-frequency response below 100Hz, musicians will hear bass lines, kick drums and harmonic direction more clearly. The ergonomic design draws from extensive ear model databases, ensuring comfortable long-term wear without fatigue.
Four groups of air pressure balance damping work with a precisely designed cavity structure to eliminate unwanted reflections. At 18Ω impedance with 108dB sensitivity, the NM2 works efficiently across different audio sources while providing 25dB of sound isolation.
NM20: The evolution
Built on the NM2’s foundation, the NM20 introduces significant upgrades. The new MC2L-100P dynamic driver uses a higher-precision integrated tuning PCB for improved stability and sound quality. Neodymium magnets, beryllium-plated diaphragm, dual magnetic circuit, and dual acoustic chamber design push performance further.
NF ACOUS’s patented Clutter Trap technology is what sets the NM20 apart. Five air pressure-controlling damping nets and two tuning sponges work together to reduce reflected sound and provide cleaner reference-quality monitoring. The result is what is called 5% purer sound reproduction.
In terms of their construction, upgrades include high-strength polycarbonate material with a frosted finish, CNC-carved aluminium accents and a redesigned 0.78mm socket structure that improves both connection reliability and durability. At 32Ω impedance, these monitors can handle higher power levels while maintaining the same 25dB isolation and 108dB sensitivity as the NM2.
