Unleash your potential with newton sound, an extension of guitars.

A next-level new multitool for guitarists, Newton Sound, is launching in the U.S., allowing players to cut the cords. It also lets users transform their sound with any effect on the fly and record full tracks with drums. Plus, the associated app is designed to help guitarists boost their skills.

“Research shows that 1 in 10 people worldwide play guitar, yet there’s been a lack of accessible, easy-to-use tools for musicians to create and perform music,” says founder Andrey Sipatov.

The tool pairs with a mobile app, syncing effortlessly with both acoustic and electric guitars. It lets players apply effects as they play, record multi-track songs, and even sharpen their skills with an integrated learning course. The device uses the AWA8810 chip for sound transmission with high quality (16bit 48KHz and latency 10 ms). The team designed the hardware platform using a STM32 chip to handle signal processing internally. They plan to build their own pro platform.

Unlike other similar products, Newton is both affordable and packed with more features. The creators are also working on integrating AI into the device and building a community where musicians of all levels can connect. The goal is for even the simplest guitar to sound like a great branded guitar with a juicy distortion pedal, with users able to share their tracks and presets and polish your skills.

A demo and pre-orders are available here, with the Newton Sound Kickstarter currently in progress.
