Posted on their Facebook page earlier this week, the video shows head guitar designer and founder Perry Ormsby carefully putting parts of a guitar on to a broom. Fitted with an EMG pickup, the broom is fashioned with a rough Ormsby signature headstock. One thick guitar string is threaded through to the makeshift bridge and input jack (all of which seems either glued or held together with several rubber bands).
The finest moment of the video is when one of the worker actually plugs the broom into an amplifier. Surprisingly, the Frankenstein broom guitar can pull a decent tone, with what sounds like a super compressed distortion.
