Better Nature is the first new album from the Silversun Pickups in more than three years and has the band pulling out all stops to create a piece of work more imaginative and inspired than anything the band has ever done in the past.
Accompanied with the release of new single Nightlight is a tripped out music film, written and directed by legendary filmmaker Mark Pellington (Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam), produced by Braxton Pope (Passion Pit, MGMT) and featuring Meg Steedle (Boardwalk Empire). The extended video takes the already emotionally gripping and sonically atmospheric track to another level.
The Silverlake, CA-based band are once again partnering with producer Jacknife Lee (UZ, Two Door Cinema), who worked with band on 2012’s ambitiously riveting Neck Of The Woods and has helped craft their sound since, providing an organic space for pure musical expression. Rounding out the superb contributions to the album’s final product is GRAMMY award-winning mix engineer Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails).
