Personal Computer blends “mind-bending and soulful pop” and brings together the many influences of Silicon including soul, funk and disco, infused with extra-terrestrial noir sonics and eletronica.
The talented multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer makes it almost impossible for his music to be pigeonholed, exploring the realms of various music styles and soundscapes.
Alongside the release of the ten tracks of Personal Computer is the announcement of twenty nine paintings of Nielson’s ‘emoji’ icon which will be exhibited in New York and London. They will then be made available for sale after the record’s full release.
If all of that wasn’t enough, Silicon will be touring Australia alongside Chet Faker later this year. With one show already sold out, it’s bound to be a collaboration to remember.
