After ten years away from the band Green returned to Saosin in 2014; the visceral nature of their live shows reinvigorating and inspiring. The product of which is the new album – an onslaught of energetic instrumentation and compelling lyricism.
Taking care of the production for the album was Saosin bassist Chris Sorenson. It was then engineered by guitarist Beau Burchell, while Green’s longtime collaborator Will Yip (Circa Survive, Title Fight) handled the vocal production. It’s an album that in a sense is a homecoming for Green – the singer left the band following the release of 2003 debut EP, Translating the Name. While away form Saosin he was the vocalist of Circa Survive. With a return to the band, however, comes some of his greatest work: brutal in delivery, yet honest and emotive in message.
