The announcement was made during Pusha T’s set at the Made In America festival in Philadelphia yesterday, with the rapper explaining that the reason that the album, titled King Push, has not been released yet is due to West’s perfectionism.
“I done this album like three times,” Pusha T told the audience. “Kanye come in and pick all the beats and shit and then he’d scrap them and say ‘I can do better’. These past two months we’ve just been locking in day and night, getting this album perfect for y’all.”
Pusha T’s last album, Darkest before Dawn: The Prelude, came out in 2015. Watch the announcement below.
