PUP SET TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM IN MAY

Pup.jpg

Grimly entitled The Dream is Over, these new tracks are a solid collection of teenage anthems set to give voice to disenfranchised youths. Since the bands inception in 2013, they’ve toured the world twice over and played over 200 shows in that time, but their success has given them no reason to be cheerful.

The album title comes from singer Stefan Babcock’s recent trip to the doctor’s office, being told that he had done significant damage to his vocal chords. It all sounds pretty bleak and these songs are drenched in pessimism, but they’re also packed full of wit, making this downer rock the benchmark for emotionally charged power rock in our modern era.
