Baked Goods is the ultimate showcase of our home-grown talent and aims to help artists promote their upcoming works, tours and general sweetness. Presented by James Morris, it’s the perfect blend of music and cookies (yum!) and offers listeners an insight into Australia’s vibrant and unique music scene.
Officially launching last week at Melbourne’s own John Curtin Hotel, the event featured acts including The Moody Spooks, Netti, Didirri, Tali Sings and The Peeks. Already established as an excellent platform for the up and coming, the guys behind it are a part of the push for more avenues for Aussie artists.
Playing host to Kalacoma in the first show and set to feature Tinpan Orange for their second, the segment is sure to draw the eyes of those interested in the latest sounds coming out of their local area.
Below is the very first sneak peak of the goodies that Baked Goods has up for offer – the premiere of Kalacoma’s latest tune, Double Think.
Performances will also air each week on SYN’s 90.7 segment ‘The Hoist’ and Channel 31’s ‘1700’. Interviews will appear on both shows and via Baked Goods social media platforms later in the week. For more information, head to the Baked Goods page.
