Fans will be able to purchase or rent the visual via iTunes, Google, Vimeo or Amazon from Friday April 24, which should offer a quick respite from the grim indoors reality we’re currently in. Viva The Underdogs depicts the Byron band at their prime, featuring over a decade’s worth of behind the scenes and previously unseen personal footage to offer an unparalleled intimate experience for any Australian music fan. Watch the newly released extended trailer for the film below.
Back in January, Parkway Drive also announced that they’d be releasing a soundtrack album to accompany Viva The Underdogs featuring three songs re-recorded in German, which frontman Winston McCall said was “hands down one of the most unique projects we’ve undertaken”. They were also set to tour in support of the documentary this June.
