New Me, Same Us promises to Little Dragon’s first full-length effort since 2017’s Season High, and is due for release via Ninja Tune on Friday March 27. They’ve accompanied the news with a funky, synth-soaked single ‘Hold On’, which you can listen to below. ‘Hold On’ packs everything you could from LIttle Dragon into a tight little package, with vocalist Yukimi Nagano’s sauntering vocals being complemented with a irresistably bouncy bassline – bliss.
The band discussed the recording of New Me, Same Us in a statement accompanying today’s release, saying that “This album has been the most collaborative for us yet, which might sound weird considering we’ve been making music together for all these years, but we worked hard at being honest, finding the courage to let go of our egos and be pieces of something bigger.”
