John Mayer’s ‘The Heart of Life’ is set to become a TV series

As The Hollywood Reporter reports, ABC will co-produce the series with 20th Century Fox TV and will base the drama on ‘The Heart of Life’, a track from Mayer’s 2006 album Continuum. The plot will follow two sets of adult siblings from different worlds, brought together upon discovering they’re related.

An all-star team of executive producers will oversee the series, including Ben Queen (NBC’s Powerless), Melvin Mar (Jumanji), Jake Kasdan (Bless This Mess), Paul Weitz (Mozart in the Jungle) and Mayer himself.

While word on when we can expect to see the series is scarce, you can easily pass the time counting down the days until Mayer’s Australian tour begins.

Catch up on the other big news from John Mayer this week: the new finishes for his PRS Silver Sky. Tickets to Mayer’s Australian tour are available via Live Nation.
